Handpresso Espresso Vision

Handpresso is all about the espresso, and making sure that you can make your espresso any time and anywhere: in the living room or by a campfire in the mountains.   A French company that was founded in Fontainebleau, France in 2006, Handpresso created and patented the world's very first handheld espresso maker.  They clearly know what they're doing when it comes to the perfect cup of espresso and have made it incredibly easy for you to make a quality, professional espresso in a moment's notice with all the sophistication and creativity Handpresso stands for. handpresso logo

The Technology Behind a Hand-Held Espresso Maker

How does it work?  Using cutting edge creativity, Mr. Henrik Nielsen designed a hand-held espresso maker that works much like a bicycle pump.  After pumping a Handpresso 30 to 45 times to get up to 16 bar pressure, hot water is added and an E.S.E (Easy Serving Espresso) pod of ground coffee inserted.  A simple push of a button starts the infusion, which causes the pressure to drop down from 11 to 8 bar pressure.  Just release the button to stop the infusion and you have an instant cup of rich, intense espresso to meet your deepest craving.

Quality & Design

Designed especially for the coffee connoisseur that appreciates quality and design, Handpresso espresso machines use only high-quality materials to ensure durable, long-lasting products that make exceptionally delicious espresso. Handpresso has won numerous prizes and awards for design, including: l'Observeur du design08, IF 2008, Formland Autumn 2008 and Table&Cadeau 2008, and a simple glance over their products will quickly show you why.  They are not only innovative, but look and feel unlike anything else on the market right now.

Green Espresso Makers

As a brand representing products designed to be completely green, not only are the products themselves made from environmentally-friendly materials and parts, the products also conceptually embrace alternative energy.  The energy of each Handpresso espresso maker is generated by the power of the human hand. Not only are you not using any electricity to make the coffee, you aren't draining energy reserves 24 hours a day with a coffee maker that stays on stand-by-mode.  And, if you combine the product with E.S.E. pods that are also environmentally friendly and recyclable, the entire concept is one that benefits the environment.

The Espresso Maker Accessories

More than just innovative in the creation of the Handpresso espresso maker itself, Handpresso has branched out into all kinds of unique and tech-savvy accessories that you won't find anywhere else.  Nomadic bags are sleek, compact, and contain everything you might need, from the hot water thermos to napkins to unbreakable cups.  You'll also find things like a travel case with Extreme Vibration Attentuation, a domepod case that clips on to any shoulder or baggage strap, and an intense portafilter that slows down the infusion process and actually increases the extraction process. handpresso travel case
